Audio

The Digital Media Center contains a professional-quality digital audio production studio, based around a Macintosh G4 workstation running Mark of the Unicorn's Digital Performer production environment.

A variety of synthesizers, software packages, microphones, and effects processors are available to be used to create works that can be output to CD, DAT, Tascam DTRS, and cassette, as well as to a wide variety of digital file formats.

In addition, some limited audio editing software is available on all workstations in the center, and various portable equipment may be checked out to qualified students for use in the field.

Contact Joe Reinsel for more information, or to discuss a project using the Audio Studio.
