FAQ: If you cannot view the lectures on your PC and you see a box with an X in the upper left hand corner-

The most likely reason for this behavior is that you do not have Java installed on your PC. You can download and install Sun's Java Runtime Environment (JRE) at this address: http://www.java.com

Another possible cause for this behavior is that

you do not have Java enabled in your Internet Browser.

To verify if this is the case, do the following in Internet Explorer:

Select the Tools Menu---> Internet Options---> Advanced Tab

Check to see if either of the following is checked off:

-JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled (this is Microsoft VM)

-Java SUN JRE

If you happen to have both of these items and they're both checked, uncheck the Microsoft VM option, click ok and restart your browser.

There's a FAQ on the Impatica website that deals with this issue:

If none of these fixes help your issue, please let me know
