About Johns Hopkins

To Win

Listen to... To Win

To win, to win,
You'd like like Hell to win.
But you'll have to wait,
'Til the moon turns green,
And the Brass Band plays "God Shave the Dean!"
Hi-lo, Hi-lee,
It's plain as A-B-C,
If anyone's going to win today,
It's we, we, we!

(Note: At Johns Hopkins University men's lacrosse games, To Win is played by the university band after each Hopkins goal is scored. The crowd then counts to the total of goals scored by the Blue Jays, and shouts, "We want more!" For instance, after the fourth goal of the game, the chant goes, "One! Two! Three! Four! We want more!)
