From I-95 (southbound): Take the Capital Beltway (I-95 and I-495) to Maryland 295 (the Baltimore-Washington Parkway) south, and follow the directions below.

From Maryland 295 (the Baltimore-Washington Parkway): Proceed south to the New York Avenue exit. Proceed along New York Avenue until you bear right onto L Street. After a few blocks, bear right onto Massachusetts Avenue. SAIS is at 1740 Massachusetts Avenue N.W., just beyond 17th Street.

From I-95 (northbound): Proceed north until the merger of I-95 and I-495, the Capital Beltway. At that point, do not get on the beltway; instead, take I-395 north towards Washington. Follow signs to the 14th Street Bridge. Once on 14th Street, proceed to Thomas Circle and exit the circle onto Massachusetts Avenue westbound (i.e., towards what was your left as you approached the circle). SAIS is at 1740 Massachusetts Ave. N.W., just beyond 17th Street.
