Homewood Traditions: Johns Hopkins University
1888 Athletic events; Nursing School Dance Johns Hopkins has over 125 years of traditions: songs, cheers, rituals, parties, superstitions, activities. Many of them are still alive, but others are dormant or forgotten. Some that are active are not well known on the Homewood Campus
This website will gather and celebrate those traditions, and perhaps help us create new ones. You can submit traditions that are or were important to you as a Hopkins undergraduate. And you can suggest new traditions, either of your own making or from another institution. The Committee on Traditions welcomes your participation in building community.
